For one last fun activity before I finished my contract at ELP, my advanced primary students made fudge together as part of a hands-on learning activity alongside our reading of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. In a previous lesson, each student wrote or translated a chocolate recipe in English. A few weeks later each student brought an ingredient and a cooking tool, and we all worked together to make the gooey treat.
