Sunday morning in Sokcho

On the weekend of Sept 8 and 9, we attended a conference in Sokcho. We stayed on the sixth floor of the "Good Morning Hotel". Our balcony gave us a splendid view of the sunrise over the east sea.

The creek

Check out the chilies drying in the sun! Believe it or not, but this is a very common sight Wonju. Sometimes you'll see them along the side of the road, in the middle of the sidewalk, in a parking lot, or covering a driveway.

These pictures were taken by a stream that runs through town. It originates in the mountains just above Wonju so the water is very clean and good to swim in.

There's some beautiful green spaces in our city. These pictures were taken by Angela just a few blocks from our house.

Our Apartment

This is our apartment. It's small but nice, consisting of a kitchen/living room/dining room, a bedroom a bathroom and a narrow breezeway where we have our washing machine and some extra storage.
