Thanksgivings and Farewells

This year we celebrated American thanksgiving along with our friends Drew and Chloe. Dan and I made roast chicken with veggies, and D&C made THE BEST PUMPKIN PIE EVER! Along with some good wine, conversation, and cheer, it made for a pleasant evening. Since then, we've also celebrated the friendship of many other people we've met here in Korea-several of which recently headed back to their various home countries across the globe. In particular, we'll really miss our dear friends Naomi and Marike. Wonju isn't the same without you!

Potluck at Matt and Cythia's

On Saturday Matt and Cynthia (Dan's colleagues at ELP- they started just after I began working at Yonsei University) hosted a potluck at their place (our old apartment!). We made gingerbread people and Baba Ghannouj. Other culinary delights included dokboki, potato salad, spring roles, and freshly picked walnuts. :)
